Common questions

Import runs from Apple Health or Health Connect

Go to Settings → Privacy → Import runs from Health. echoRnr brings in the workout summary only, not the other app's route. Opening the app never imports your history on its own.

Heart rate isn't showing during a run

Apple Watch: make sure the echoRnr Watch app is allowed to read heart rate in the Health app. Bluetooth chest strap or armband: wear it for a minute to wake it, check Bluetooth access for echoRnr in your phone's settings, then pair it again from the app.

My run stopped recording when the screen locked

Set Location access for echoRnr to Always in your phone's settings. It's only used while a run is recording or weather is refreshing.

Back up my runs

Go to Settings → Privacy → Backup runs. You get a zip with a spreadsheet of your runs, photos and Gear Box. You keep it; we never receive it.

Choose what friends see

Each share field (date, heart rate, calories, splits, weather, route line and more) has its own switch. Turn off anything you'd rather keep to yourself. Raw GPS, body weight and Gear Box are never sent.

Block or report someone

Open their profile and tap Block or Report. Block hides you from each other and ends the friendship. Report sends their handle and your reason to us for review.

Delete my account

Go to Settings and tap Delete account. This removes your cloud account, friendships and shares; runs on your phone stay. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account, so delete it first or email us.

Refunds

echoRnr is bought through the App Store or Google Play, so refunds are handled by Apple or Google. Request one from your purchase history with them.

Privacy

Your runs live on your phone. Read exactly what leaves it, and when, in the Privacy Policy.
